SnowBall 2012 Dates Announced!
[[UPDATE: TO SEE WHO IS PLAYING THE 2012 FESTIVAL CLICK HERE]]
The only music festival held outside in the mountains during the blistering cold of winter is back and officially scheduled for the first weekend in March, namely March 2-4!
If you missed this year’s SnowBall Music Festival, you missed the sounds of Pretty Lights and Bassnectar bouncing of the mountain range and the vibes of Lotus and Paper Diamond glistening in the snowfall. You missed dancing around in slush to the point your toes are numb, and you missed ice sculptures all over the venue. There were crazy girls in nothing but tights and a bathing suit top in below freezing weather, and your beer always stayed cold! Simply put, you missed one hell of a party!
Tickets for the event, which takes place in the valley of Avon, Colo. near Beaver Creek and Vail, will go on sale Nov. 30 at 11 a.m. MST, and we believe this is very important. Over the summer, SnowBall sold a couple hundred early bird tickets for $75 and since they were nabbed up almost instantly (in something like four hours) we thought you should know so you can be at the ready. I know I will be.
So take a look at the trailer and get your boards and skis together. Spring break is just around the corner! We’ll def let you know when acts for the fest are announced!
